302 in 2004
well UWI start... first day sucked major balls. well there wasn't a second day of skool since we were under hurricane watch. we didn't get hit, but were close. grenada got really banged up. wednesday was pretty cool, it had UWI b rocking. that show was real mad. bands like solaris, krucifix, tremor and orange sky dan up the place. nothing is better than smirnoff and a rock show on the quadrangle. so sad i didn't play for that show. i also heard my solo original songs are being play on WTNT live feed. WHEY!!! i feeling proud POI POI POI POI!!today is friday, still waiting on approval for my 302 project. it is bascially making a pickup for guitar and steelpan. my area, so it will be fun working on it. hope it goes ok.
so i got the project to make the steelpan and guitar pick up, it has proven to be quite a challenge to develop. the draft i got for it wasn't much of a help since the report written was very weak, no in depth detail, it is an engineer's nightmare to decipher that report. sad part was that i spent wasted time to understand it. in the mean time i was working on my acting, graphics and sound mixing skills for the UWI divali show. i must say the play was a major success and entertaining (Hoping to do it again next year), only major problem was the the seating accommodations were not enough for the usual huge crowd turn out. This year's play was quite a challenge, apart from acting i had to develop the graphics for the projections and the songs to be played during the performance. the trademark "matrix code" graphic intro (which had it's taste of technical difficulties but quickly remedied, due to my engineering like problem solving techniques) to emphasize Komal's and my signature on-stage matrix performance during the fight scene, but this year the move was stood out with the " normal speed, reverse and slow motion" effect also with supporting music. Which was well executed on the night itself considering we never got it right b4. my favorite part was when i had to do my "squeaky" voice. hearing a crowd cheer and laugh is PRICELESS. Ex pres fellas, ppl from class, friends and parents saw the play and were very entertained, honestly it was my honour to entertained them.
