dec 2004 into 2005
Well after that, it was straight to the books to study for exams. Project was also put on hold. It was all niters for the next 3 weeks in STARRS and engineering rooms of intensive studying and plenty RED BULL, apart from it's unique taste, it definitely works. One thing about engineering, you got to study in your groups, especially if you don't regularly attend classes. i was very appreciative for the drops i got from IAN on saturday mornings, nothing like an early morning drive on such clear roads and taking the scenery (studying on a Friday night, it's sad isn't it.). But all niters for 3 weeks, definitely takes a toll on your body, physically and mentally. i must admit, there were times i behaved strangely. i hope i don't have to go through again this semester.
after my ICES exam, that exam was so horrible (lectures think it is funny to set such exams, now i know why ppl get nervous break downs,) i became something i never knew i could have become, got drunk after and it all went away. i spent a few days resting b4 my birthday, usually exams finish on my birthday, this year (2004), i actually had a few days rest b4 Christmas, all thanks to the fact i couldn't write my microP exam. my bday was quite this rounds but i had a good time at another friends bday party . a good lime is a bout who you with and the games you make with alcohol. Missed out on the big PLATS lime, oh well! cant go to them all. But after Christmas it was straight to lab to work on my project. sad isn't it? UWI never looked like such a ghost town. I had to prepare for my progress report and presentation, so i had to get my project rolling. The presentation was rather helpful and rite after that, ended in "gate boys" and drank my ass silly drunk with my vodka with friends old and new and also in Spanky's, ended up home around 10pm traveling. first time for everything. i must say, some ppl will surprise you. and the very next day (Friday), TGIF with GREAT friends AGAIN, had a blast. saw a lot of ppl i knew in there, now i know where everybody does be on a Friday. The gape was definitely juicy, note: was sober at the time of this comment.
